"When I was a teenager, I got some work experience with my father on Sleepy Hollow and Mortal Kombat. That's when I knew I would follow in his footsteps one day."

In The Beginning

Before Joining the film industry, Hayley studied and qualified in mechanical engineering at college and went on to become a project engineer at a company in the Midlands.

After gaining an extensive skill base outside of the film industry, she felt the time was right to use her skills in Special Effects.

Hayley started her Special Effects career in 2004 following her father and uncles footsteps.

Climbing the SFX ladder over the years, Hayley qualified as an SFX Supervisor in 2015.

Hayley has since successfully worked with many well known Companies, Producers and Directors and continues to push the boundaries with new and innovative ideas.

strong as your team.

One of the most crucial fundamentals of creating outstanding Special Effects is to have the right people in the right place.

Hayley recognised this early on and built a strong, talented team of individuals covering CAD engineering, metal fabrication, mould makers and on set technicians.

"Our effects designers must have several essential skills as well as wide range of knowledge of crafts, trades and techniques.

The most versatile designers are those who are as much at home with a welder as they are mould making and painting.

There are few limits, if any, to what the director requires and our ability to execute it for them. So having a diverse team of talent certainly helps to achieve the desired results."
